    The location is excellent — quiet and calm, overlooking rice fields, with several wonderful places to eat nearby. The villa itself is well built, the private pool is good, and the facilities and free Wi-Fi were all fine.

    The cleanliness, however, was so poor it ruined the entire stay. The moment we stepped inside, the smell was so bad that we immediately wanted to leave. The bedsheets, blankets and bathroom all stank. The kitchen was worse — everything was so greasy that we didn't want to touch anything, and we didn't. We spent an entire afternoon hiring cars and searching for alternative accommodation, without success, and weren't even planning to ask for a refund. In the end we asked the host to change the bedsheets — the bare minimum we could live with. We went out, and on returning found they had sprayed fragrance around the villa but hadn't changed the sheets at all. We could tell because the same stains were still there. A beautiful setting badly let down by a complete lack of basic hygiene.

    La ubicación, cerca de todo, del centro de ubud y de los campos de arroz, mucha tranquilidad, el poder alquilar motos y que te las lleven a la villa, todo genial

    Het is op zich mooi gelegen en de villa’s zijn qua concept goed bedacht.

    Zowel de staat van de huisjes als het onderhoud was echter wel een tegenvaller.
