  A truly special place that made our stay in Essaouira unforgettable.

  We had an absolutely wonderful stay! Said is an amazing host , always kind, helpful and easy to communicate with. The house is beautifully designed with so much attention to detail. We felt at home from the very first moment. The pool area is simply perfect for relaxing, and honestly, we could have spent the entire holiday there without ever leaving the house. Everything was spotless and very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Essaouira. Thank you, Said, for making our stay so special!

  Einfach perfekt – eine kleine Oase der Ruhe bei Saïd und den vielen süßen Katzen vor Ort. Das Haus ist wunderschön, extrem ruhig, sauber und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet – der minimalistische Stil sorgt für sofortige Wohlfühlatmosphäre. Der Pool war ein echtes Highlight und bot genau die Entspannung, die man zum Abschalten und Auftanken braucht. Saïd ist ein unglaublich herzlicher Gastgeber, und auch die Organisation mit den Taxis hat reibungslos funktioniert. Gemeinsam mit seiner Frau sorgt er dafür, dass man sich rundum willkommen fühlt. Besonders empfehlenswert ist das köstliche, liebevoll zubereitete Essen seiner Frau – ein echtes Highlight unseres Aufenthalts! Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt und wären am liebsten noch länger geblieben. Vielen Dank für eure Gastfreundschaft, Herzlichkeit und diese wunderbare kleine Ruheoase. Absolut empfehlenswert – wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder, wenn wir in Essaouira sind.

  Kleine Anmerkungen für unseren Gastgeber: Einen kleinen Kosmetik-Mülleimer in den Badezimmern wäre super und die Waschmaschine zum Selberwaschen, wenn man lange schon reist, ist super gewesen, könnte aber mal eine Entkalkung oder Erneuerung benötigen 😉.

  L’accueil a été absolument parfait. Notre hôte a été d’une grande réactivité et d’une gentillesse remarquable : toujours disponible, attentif et agréable, il a répondu à toutes nos questions avec beaucoup de bienveillance. La maison était d’une propreté irréprochable, très joliment conçue, avec une architecture harmonieuse et des espaces bien pensés. Il n’y a pas de petit-déjeuner inclus, mais il est possible de se faire livrer par l’établissement situé juste en face, tout aussi réactif et pratique. Il est également possible – si j’ai bien compris – de demander à la femme de ménage de préparer les repas (option que nous n’avons pas testée). Nous recommandons vivement cette maison, à la fois confortable, accueillante et très bien tenue. Le responsable est vraiment exceptionnel : il nous a d’ailleurs offert un tajine à notre arrivée, sans doute le meilleur que j’aie mangé de ma vie !

  Le bruit des travaux de la maison juste à côté mais ça reste modéré surtout pas du fait du propriétaire qui fait tout son possible pour que votre séjour soit parfait

  Incredibly beautiful house inside and out. A real sanctuary.

  The house is so beautiful, inside and out. The architecture works so well for the climate, air can flow through and there is plenty of shady spots to sit. The pool area is very nice, clean and inviting. The owner was extremly helpful.

  A unique villa - well-designed and well-managed

  In 2005 we rented this villa by the German architect, and twenty years later we decided to revisit the villa based on the many fine reviews. Also this time we enjoyed staying in a well-designed and well-maintained house, nicely decorated with paintings and other pieces of Moroccan arts and crafts. And with something new: a swimmingpool replacing an outdoor bathtub. The owner, Saïd, was very attentive and concerned about our well-being. He even brought us a delicious homemade tajine on the day of our arrival. Khadija, the maid, cleaned the villa every day, and she also took care of the many flowers, bushes and trees in the garden.

  When you drive to the villa from the bigger road from Essaouira to Agadir, you realize that the whole area ( Diabat) is undergoing transformation, from having been part of the countryside to becoming a kind of suburb to Essaouira. At the street, Douar Ghazoua, quite many big and elegant villas are already built or under construction. Fortunately we were not disturbed by - noisy -construction work during our 14 days stay; when we closed the gate to the street, we felt extremely safe and comfortable in the villa and its garden.
