  What was meant to be a surprise for my relatives became disappointment and shame for us.

  NOTHING 😭

  Rooms - We had to wait while the room was still being prepared, and staff were using a floor wiper to remove water just before handing it over. The bedsheets and blanket made us feel itchy. Staff shortage - The same employees handled reception, luggage, housekeeping, room service, and restaurant service throughout our stay, raising concerns about service quality and hygiene. Cleanliness and hygiene - Rooms, washrooms, buckets, and mugs were not cleaned thoroughly; visible residue was present. Tap water had an unpleasant smell, sealed drinking water bottles did not inspire confidence, and despite using sanitiser/disinfectant, we never felt comfortable using the facilities. Water quality concerns - After using the water, my daughter experienced irritation. She also avoided drinking enough water during the stay to minimise using the washroom. Drinking water wasn't satisfactory therefore we bought bisleri from market. Property × photos - The resort appeared much larger, cleaner, and better maintained online. In reality, it felt quite small, with stained fabric-covered ceilings and signs of poor maintenance. Restaurant and food - The restaurant was much smaller than expected (around 15 people capacity), cleanliness was below expectations, food often tasted stale, coffee was either too bitter or too sweet while still watery, parathas became extremely chewy once they cooled slightly, and the breakfast bread and butter tasted stale. We skipped breakfast on our final day. Missing basic amenities - There was no intercom in the room; guests had to call a mobile number for assistance, which could be particularly inconvenient for international travellers - my relatives. Overall experience - We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights, but by the final morning we chose to leave without showering or having breakfast because we were uncomfortable with the hygiene standards. With only about 10 guests in the entire resort (8 from our family), we expected better.
