    A lovely, well equipped, quiet place close to the sea.

    We arrived at Upesgrīvas on our last day of the walk along the sea and were welcomed by the very friendly host who showed us around and explained everything. The location is quiet, wooded, close to the sea and also close enough to the nearest village with a shop. Cooking is possible on a grill or fire. Cookware, dishes and wood are provided. A kettle and a microwave oven are also available. There are also bicycles that can be used by the guests with no extra charge. At least for cabins 1 and 2 the bathrooms with a shower are in a separate building super close by, so not really an issue.
