Not pleasant
We really didn’t like very much. The space is good, not cramped and the view is decent.
The drains in the bathrooms were clogged from the very beginning. The host did send someone but they had to come twice. We stayed for a week and were given one bath towel each. Upon arriving, the apartment doesn’t offer their guest one thing. No water, a bottle of wine, shampoo, nothing small that might imply, WELCOME. The street noise was pretty annoying at night and the remote they gave us for the garage (we rented a car) stop working on our last day. Our host was very kind but these issues need to be addressed by the owner. We stay in Airbnbs all around Portugal and I can’t remember the last time I didn’t write nice review. Save your money and rent another place closer to Funchal.

Madera jest niesamowita.
Mieszkanie w apartamentowcu oddane do użytku w 2023 roku. Bardzo dobrze wyposażone. Bezproblemowy odbiór kluczy od pracownika, po godzinie 22:00 za niewielką dopłatą (10 euro). Do apartamentu przynależy miejsce parkingowe, co znacznie ułatwia logistykę jeśli wynajmuje się samochód. Apartament położony blisko ścisłego centrum Funchal, około 1,5 km od portu. Dostęp do basenu robił robotę. Woda co prawda nie była podgrzewana, ale idealna na orzeźwienie w cieplejsze dni. Bardzo dobry kontakt z obsługą, bardzo szybko odpowiadali na maila, a w razie konieczności pojawiał się pracownik.
Mimo wysokiego poziomu cena była dość wysoka w porównaniu do innych ofert domów na wyspie. Niestety, ale w apartamencie powtarzał się problem z mrówkami. Nawet po wizycie pracownika i spryskaniu kluczowych powierzchni problem nawracał. Poziom sprzątania (raz w tygodniu) mógłby być lepszy, gdyż na niektórych powierzchniach widać było ślady "powierzchownego" podejścia (np. kurz na lampach nad wyspą w części kuchennej czy pod szafkami w łazienkach).
