    Absolute nightmare – Ghost host and suspicious address.

    The location is the only reason I gave any points at all. If the apartment actually exists at the stated address, it is right in the heart of the city, surrounded by stunning architecture and a wonderful local atmosphere. Unfortunately, the only time I got to "enjoy" this vibe was during the hours I spent wandering the streets while desperately trying to find the place.

    Review Title: I booked this accommodation six months in advance specifically for the Ice Hockey World Championship in Fribourg, knowing that options would be limited during such a major event. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a complete disaster due to the host's total lack of responsibility. The location itself is the only positive aspect I can mention. Fribourg is a remarkably beautiful city with stunning architecture and a wonderful local atmosphere. If the apartment actually exists, it would be in a prime spot. However, I only "enjoyed" the area while wandering the streets for hours searching for the place. The main issues: Non-existent Communication: The owner never contacted me after the booking. Upon arrival, they completely ignored my emails and SMS messages and did not pick up the phone. I was left stranded. Incorrect/Fake Address: The address provided on Booking.com (Rue des Alpes, 1700) seems suspicious. I couldn't find the specific building on the map. The street only has house numbers from 1 to 50, but the number provided in the listing was completely different and non-existent. There was also no floor number provided. Significant Inconvenience: Due to this unprofessional behavior, I had to urgently find alternative accommodation in neighboring villages at the last minute, which was extremely difficult and stressful during the championship. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this property. It caused me great distress and nearly ruined my trip to this otherwise beautiful location. I am also reporting this to Booking.com customer service as a potential scam.
