We had a wonderful four-night stay here with our family of six. The apartment is on a working dairy farm, so you may notice a slight smell of cows when you first pull in, but the apartment smelled completely fine inside and was exceptionally clean. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, overlooking rolling fields. With the windows cracked open, you could faintly hear the waterfall across the street, which was such a relaxing background sound. The apartment was very comfortable. I’m extremely picky about mattresses, and the king-size bed was just as comfortable as my bed at home! The kitchen was well equipped, and I especially loved the KitchenAid espresso/coffee maker with milk steamer. The huge TV with Netflix was great for winding down at night. There’s also an upstairs living/game area with toys for younger kids. There is only one bathroom, but we made it work with six people. We visited pools or hot springs most days and showered there, so it wasn’t an issue for us. The location was perfect—about 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes from the airport, convenient for both the Golden Circle and South Coast, and only about 10 minutes from Bonus grocery store in Selfoss. Exceptionally clean, comfortable, quiet, and a great location. We would absolutely stay here again!

Very spacious house with everything you need. It has a wonderful hot tub for relaxing, as well as plenty of toys and play space for the little ones.
Despite the huge amount of space available, I would have appreciated a second bathroom. Having just one bathroom for nine people is a bit tight.
