    The apartment was clean, and the balcony was a pleasant place to sit in the evening. As it is a relatively new building, the furnishings and overall appearance were also quite nice. Given that we booked at the last minute and considering the high prices in the area, the agreed price was tolerable under the circumstances. We were able to enter the accommodation later than the scheduled check-in time, but we were also allowed to leave later than the official check-out time. The hosts therefore seemed fairly flexible about the check-in and check-out times.

    The apartment had several drawbacks that made the stay less comfortable than expected. The single small bathroom was not really sufficient for an apartment advertised as accommodating up to seven people. Sound insulation within the apartment was also rather poor, so noise from the adjacent rooms was clearly audible. Access to the apartment was through the balcony of the neighboring property, which was rather awkward, especially when the neighbors were sitting or having meals on their balcony. The beach was indeed relatively close, but reaching it required taking a shortcut along a path through an adjacent field, which had no lighting at night. The path eventually led to the parking area of a hotel located directly on the seafront. While the beach itself was therefore accessible and nearby, the route was surprisingly — especially given the location shown on the map — not particularly convenient or pleasant.
