The communication with the host via WhatsApp was very good and uncomplicated. We received all the necessary information about the apartment and check-in in advance, and everything went smoothly. The view from the apartment is absolutely beautiful. You rarely get such a stunning view over the Bay of Kotor. The private parking directly in front of the building was also a big plus, especially given how difficult parking can be in and around Kotor. We also really liked the fact that you can walk down to the bay and find relatively quiet and private spots for swimming. Compared to the much busier areas around Kotor, this was a great advantage.
Unfortunately, the apartment itself felt quite worn and dated. The furniture was heavily used, and several things would benefit from regular maintenance or replacement. The kitchen was very sparsely equipped and not really suitable for cooking. There were no proper bowls or pots, for example, which made even simple food preparation difficult. The fridge was also extremely small and didn't work particularly well. We also noticed some mold in the shower and felt that some areas could have been cleaner and more hygienic. The apartment would definitely benefit from more regular maintenance and a thorough check of the furnishings and kitchen equipment. There was also a rather unpleasant sewage-like smell around the building, especially in the mornings. The apartment is on the third floor and the building has no elevator, which could be difficult for guests with limited mobility. There was a water problem on our first day, although this appeared to be an issue affecting the wider area rather than the apartment itself. Overall, the location and view are excellent, but the apartment itself didn't meet our expectations in terms of condition, cleanliness and equipment.

Great location with stunning views.
The stunning views. The view across the bay from the balcony was amazing. The apartment was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location was great and it had parking, which was an enormous bonus in the area. You could walk to Kotor, although it would have been around 1hr 30mins which is quite a long walk in the heat. Parking in Kotor wasn’t difficult though. There was a lovely walk alongside the water that ran along on the lower road at the front of the apartment. There was a place there where you could sit and also swim. The host was very friendly, helpful and responsive.
There was nothing that we didn’t like.
