  Понравилось всё. 5 минут от моря. Кафе с домашней кухней 3 мин. Очень приветливые хозяева. Отзывчивые. Всё подскажут, организуют такси. Собираемся вернуться через год.

  On est passé de belles vacances à Gonio.

  Nous avons surtout apprécié la gentillesse et la réactivité de notre hôte Sofia, et sa famille. L'appartement est très spacieux et bien agencé. Il est à cinq minutes de la plage, des café et d'un très bon restaurant familial, Dedani. Il y a aussi des promenades intéressantes, par example celle jusqu'à la forteresse romaine et la montée vers la croix de Gonio. La vue depuis les chambres sur les collines aux alentours et très belle. Il y a une petite épicerie à deux pas de la maison, ou on peux acheter le pain traditionnel et des fruits et légumes frais. Le grand supermarché est à dix minutes de marche et il y a aussi des supérettes lelong de la plage.

  Il y a une route très passante sur le chemin de la plage, mais, bien évidemment, ce n'est pas du tout la faute de nos hôtes.

  Everything was great. The apartment is very spacious and clean. The kitchen is well-equipped and there is plenty of hot water. The district is very quiet - no noisy cafes or late night parties. Just nearby there are some small family cafes and shops selling fruit and veg. The nearest supermarket is about 10 minutes away on foot. The beach is five minutes' walk away. There is always plenty of space and it's not expensive to hire a sunbed/parasol. The water is very clean. The minibus to Batumi stops just by the house, but you should be aware of huge traffic jams in the evenings. However, taxis are cheap (Bolt) and the drivers know how to get round the jams. Sofio, our hostess, is a very friendly and helpful lady. She was always ready to organize taxis when we needed them late at night it early in the morning. She was also very helpful when our little child was unwell and very generous when we had a birthday celebration. Before we arrived, when we were planning our trip, she was also very quick to answer any questions we had. We can highly recommend this accommodation.

  Some people may find the noise of the neighbours' dogs or cockerels disturbing.
