  Nice property but very hot in summer months, the owner became very unpleasant in post- stay communications.

  The property itself is beautiful and clearly well cared for. It has a beautiful ocean view.

  There is no a/c or shade which meant for a very warm stay in July. There are only two garden doors to open for ventilation which means that, to have ventilation during the night, the doors remain unlocked. As two women, we were uncomfortable with this. There are also be screens in the patio doors which means that, when left open, the unit ends up with a lot of ants. Not shocking, but we didn’t love having ants in the kitchen. As other reviews have mentioned, Henri was helpful and pleasant during our stay, purchasing a new fan to help with the heat. We ended up checking out early because the heat was just too uncomfortable and he had agreed to refund us one nights stay. Dealing with him afterwards became very unpleasant and I received two very condescending communications from him. I wasn’t interested in continuing the communication with him and decided to forego it he refund he offered.

  Ein wundervoller Ort! Es hat an nichts gefehlt, evtl. eine Klimaanlage da es sehr warm war zu der Zeit. Henry, ein wirklich herzlicher Gastgeber, hat sich um alles gekümmert und uns viele Informationen gegeben.

  I would not recommend the Vale cottage unless staying in cooler months.

  There was a nice cheese and fruit assortment along with jam and small toast greeting us when we arrived, The kitchen is well furnished. The view is outstanding. The location was excellent for our needs. You do need a car.

  My low scores for the comfort and facilities center on the lack of air conditioning and a lack of fans. No A/C and only one light weight pedestal fan that never seemed to meet our needs. We stayed the end of August and it reached the upper 70's and the large siding glass door/window faces west right into the sun. The place turns into an oven even, with the sun blocking drapes. We left sliding doors and windows open during the day when we left, but one day, unfortunately sudden storm came up and our host had to close them making our room an oven again. There are no screens on any of the windows but other than a stray fly or two that wasn't a problem. Our host told us on arrival he doesn't believe in air conditioning, so I wouldn't attempt to stay here in summer months unless you love warm rooms.

  Tolle komfortable Wohnung mit Meerblick und sehr hilfsbereitem Gastgeber.

  Sehr gute Lage, toller Meerblick! Die kleine Wohnung hatte alles was man braucht. Henrique war überaus freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit! Großer Supermarkt ist ganz nah.

  Wir hatten keine Beanstandung!

  Todo, Henrique nos hizo sentir en casa, muy atento y siempre accesible. Tuvo muchos detalles. Luego, la casa es muy chula, tiene todo lo necesario y las vistas son impresionantes.
