    Overpriced and noisy

    The flat was clean and was similar to the photos.

    The flat is directly above a bar that stays open until late, but the biggest issue was the noise early in the morning. On several days, we were woken up at around 7:00 am by staff vacuuming cleaning leaves outside the building. This was extremely loud. We pointed out that using a loud vacuum to clean leaves at 7:00 am was unnecessarily disruptive and asked them to stop doing it. Unfortunately, they were rude and dismissive, and continued making the same heavy noise early in the morning. The air conditioning was also quite noisy, as was the bathroom fan. Sound travelled very easily through the building, and we could hear conversations in the common areas. Overall, it was very difficult to sleep properly because of the constant noise. The kitchen could also benefit from a few basic items, such as a bottle opener, wooden spoon and vegetable peeler. The shower gel and shampoo provided were not sufficient for the number of days we stayed. Unfortunately, the lack of consideration for guests and residents, particularly the repeated loud cleaning at 7:00 am after we had raised the issue, significantly affected our stay.
