    Great views but location outside of Lelystad!

    The room on the 15th floor had beautiful views and a bed that made for a really good night’s sleep. The receptionist and the doorman were both exceptionally kind and welcoming. I could store safely my bicycle. Breakfast was good.

    I had to leave a 250 euro deposit, which I didn’t like and which I consider a lack of trust (would be nice to mention that at the moment of booking). When I checked out, they said they had to inspect the room first before refunding the deposit. I asked why they couldn’t check the room right away, but they said they’d do it later when housekeeping cleaned. It felt like I was expected to trust that nothing would happen in the meantime. I have to trust them, but they don’t trust me… The only place in my 4 weeks trip that requested a deposit!!!
