  I feel bad for the owner of the apartment because the management company is ruining a good thing

  Very good location in a modern building

  Highlights for review scanners: sea view varanda inaccessible from living room, incompetent management company. When we arrived we found the main access to the sea view balcony locked and the knob broken, making access only possible through someone's bedroom. The management company said they would book for someone to fix it in a couple days. They never did. One A/C controller for three units throughout the house - great for waking others or being woken when someone needs to change the temperature at night. No outdoor furniture as claimed in the listing, just a broken plastic table that the management company left on the varanda but told us not to use. The management company lied and said the other varanda furniture had been removed the day before for some unspecified reason, despite other comments here there was no outdoor furniture. No wi-fi. Who actually checks to see if a rental has wi-fi these days? One of the beds wasn't made when we arrived: stripped down to the bare mattress with not even a pillow. No extra blankets or sheets anywhere. We asked for the bed to be made, they said they would come back to leave blankets. They then turned off their phones and did not return. I ended up covering the mattress with the blanket from the other bed, pulling the two beds together, and covering my wife and I with a blanket from our car. The other bed was made with a flannel duvet cover instead of a sheet. A flannel duvet cover. In August. In Portugal. The management company was the most rude and unprofessional group of people I have ever dealt with in hospitality. My favorite quote - Q: "Does the A/C work?" A: "I don't know, we didn't test it. But if it's broken, well, it's normal that things break right?" Follow-up call from 'Accounting' a week after the stay demanding tax information they had failed to collect was equally as rude. So many more things but no more room to share.

  Um lugar incrivel para relaxar ... "quase" perfeito.

  - Apartamento renovado e muito agradavél, com espaço suficiente para uma familia de 5 pessoas. Era chegar e aproveitar : havia tudo o que é necessario para nao fazer compras extras (sal, azeite, café, açucar, ...) e até uma guarda sol para ir à praia. Nota 10 ! - Muito bem localizado com vista para o mar nas duas varandas, perfeito para aproveitar a vista a toda a hora do dia. - O Ar condicionado nos quartos e na sala de estar, muito agradavel nos dias de grande calor. - O acesso directo à praia da Rocha e às zonas de bares, restaurantes e comércios, sem ter os inconvenientes porque a localizaçao faz que nao se ouve muito o ruido da zona. Perfeito. - A disponibilidade de um parque de estaciomento privado, indispensavél nesta época (15- 22 agosto)

  - Faltava uma maquina de lavar a louça. Chato ... mas aguentamos bem sem ela. - Faltava mobilia exterior para aproveitar as varandas : so hà uma mesa e um extendor de roupa um pouco ferrugento, era preciso levar as cadeiras da sala para fora, sinceramente nao acho normal porque um apartamento deste standing merece um equipamento completo. - Os sofas cama sao um pouco pequenos. A nossa filha de 11 anos nao podia dormir estendida. Nao é impeditivo mas com 2 sofas convertiveis, convinha que um fosse um pouco maior. - Ponto a melhorar : o tempo de resposta às sollicitaçoes. Nada de grave mas devem perceber que as pessoas chegam e precisam de respostas rapidas. Na chegada, avisamos da hora de checkin, mas estivemos quase uma hora à espera e ninguém atendia ao telemovel ou respondia as mensagens por sms, mails ou Whatapp. No check out, avisamos no dia anterior que queriamos sair mais cedo e tanbém mandamos varias mensagens com pedido de confimaçao ... em vao. Isto é desagradavél, no minimo convém avisar as pessoas que o pedido foi atendido. No final, correu tudo bem e entramos e saimos nas horas certas e a pessoa que nos acolheu era muito simpatica, mas uma pequena resposta a tempo e horas evitaria um stress bem dispensavel. Nada que belisca uma semana muito agradavel num lugar fantastico.
