Mine was a spontaneous visit, and was only vaguely familiar with the town, but quite satisfied.
Location was great. 10 min. walks from train station and about the same down to he harbor. Lots to see. A beautiful day when I was there. Spent the day walking/exploring, Finished with 22,000 steps, including a stretch of the Kattegattleden to Apelviken. So many swimming possibilities in one town. And despite it being 3 C that morning I saw several in the water, outdoors! A variety of dining possibilities within a short distance from Stadshotellet and a COOP and iCA near the hotel, as well as a Filmstaden bio around the corner. Excellent breakdast in the hotel restaurant this morning. Very satisfied overall. Was delighted to discover the ability to cast my Viaplay streaming to the hotel room’s flatscreen!
Check-in wasn’t until 16:00 and I arrived by train at 10:30. Luckily my explorations filled that time nicely but an hour or two earlier would have been nice. The 11:00 chect-out allows for a no stress morning with ample time for shower and breakfast.

Inte prisvärd som viloplats men trevlig frukost.
Frukosten var riktigt bra.
Rummet var strax under spaavdelningen vilket betydde ett evinnerligt ett muller och bubblande ända till nio på kvällen och på nytt från halv åtta på morgonen. Rummet var dessutom kvavt och varmt pga. spillvärmen, och ingen möjlighet att reglera temperaturen. Det var antagligen också orsaken till att sängarna hade dubbla uppsättningar fuktskydd så att den stackars gästens ymniga svettande inte skulle ruinera sängarna.

Utan missödena på rummet mycket nöjda med besöket och kommer absolut tillbaka!!
Lugn och ro vid den utmärkta frukosten uppskattades mycket! Proffsig personal och kanonläge. Skön säng och tyst rum.
En schampobehållare av stål lossnade från duschväggen med ett jätte brak endast fastsatt med dubbelhäftande tejp.Nästan stopp i handfatet.
