Beautifully set cottage with hospitable hosts.
Clean tidy with great facilities. Hosts very hospitable brilliant and good communication without being intrusive. In beautiful grounds although didn’t get to fully appreciate due to weather and our marathon schedule
The location to facilities for food between Sunday lunch to Wed was poor. Had to travel for a pub lunch as kitchen closed at all local pubs which was disappointing but not the hosts fault just something to be aware of. After running a marathon I was keen to eat!!

Everything - all very relaxing. Great setting, lovely property, thoughtful extras.
The shower is fairly weak... but didn't impact our stay.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Wonderful hosts and facilities.
Excellent communication from the hosts giving explanations and directions. Fantastic location. Warm and welcoming hosts. Feels like a home away from home. Beautiful historic estate with immaculate rooms and gardens. Would highly recommend and look forward to our next visit!

Nice estate, horses, river, walks, dog friendly, historic chapel on site, swimming pool, friendly host.
Low water pressure and broken tap in the bathroom.

Peaceful, scenic, lovely location and very homely!
It’s a very peaceful location with beautiful views and overall a very relaxed and homely experience.
If you are booking at a time when the pool is closed there’s limited things for the kids to do. We didn’t realise this at the time of booking as the information stated the pool was open (an error). When we contacted the property they were responsive and agreed to a partial refund.
