  Soggiorno a Kouramades

  La struttura si trova a Kouramades, un piccolo paesino tranquillo, caratteristico con abitanti accoglienti. Quando siamo arrivati c’era una festa in paese e ci hanno invitati a restare con loro. La posizione della casa è comoda per raggiungere in auto le principali spiagge della zona ovest e anche corfu town. C è anche una fermata del bus a pochi metri per raggiungere facilmente il centro. La host, Maria è davvero una bravissima persona, noi abbiamo noleggiato un auto e lei ci ha dato la possibilità di parcheggiare sempre fuori casa sua, a pochi passi da Vavilato. La casa è fornita di tutti gli elettrodomestici. Il primo giorno abbiamo trovato anche qualcosa da mangiare per la colazione e una bottiglia d acqua.

  Monolocale soppalcato privo di porte interne, poco adatto a quattro adulti. Un letto da una piazza e mezza all’ingresso e l’unico matrimoniale sul soppalco, dove si trova anche l’unico condizionatore: difficile raffreddare il piano inferiore. Spazi molto ridotti e totale mancanza di privacy. Abbiamo soggiornato una settimana ma non abbiamo ricevuto alcun cambio di asciugamani o lenzuola. Soffitti molto bassi e una sola finestra al piano inferiore. A parte il terrazzo, non c’è un posto comodo per mangiare in quattro.

  Exceptional

  Very nice and cozy house in a lovely village, exceptionally clean and had all the amenities we needed. The hostess made sure we felt welcome and catered to all our needs to make us feel right at home. Highly recommended.

  The stay in Corfu was great. For sure I'll be back in Vavilato Home Kouramades and I recommend it.

  The location is great - it depends, of course, what you are looking for - it is in a small wonderful village far from the tourist crowd but close to everything in Corfu. The city Kerkira is about 12 km away, the beach is 4 km (Glifada beach is 9 km) away (you need a car in Corfu - I don't know what is the situation with the public transport on the island). There is a grocery store in the village and a tavern where it is very pleasant especially in the evenings. The hosts are great - they gave us information about everything around. The place is cozy and nice especially if you want to be away from dynamic city life, if you want to read, write and explore.

  There were some ants in the kitchen sink but it was not a big deal. Everything else was perfect.
