  A piece of heaven high above Varenna. Book it.

  The mountain and lake vistas are incredible no matter what the weather. We were lucky to experience both the blue sky and the far more moody clouds that came with the gentle rain. Our little apartment in a lovely, atmospheric village above Varenna dated back to 1907. We welcomed the tranquility in the village. the bird song, and the absence of any tourists, unlike the town below. the mind-blowing vistas in front of the old church square next to our apartment were the perfect compliment to the glass of wine we shared each evening. No another soul anywhere. And the lovely walk, descending along a series of old and well trodden walkways, past villas and olive groves that lead into town each morning. Pure heaven.

  Mala experiencia

  Nada me gustó

  El apartamento tiene olor a humedad y a cosas muy viejas tiene alacranes, está muy lejos de la estación de tren, esuy difícil de llegar, las camas son súper incómodas y son súper inestables, el espacio lo alquilamos para 8 personas y es para máximo 6, la estufa no funciona, el anfitrión es grosero, la ubicación no tiene nada de turismo, no hay restaurantes, no hay donde comer, son lomas muy empinadas, las fotos no corresponden a la realidad. No recomiendo ese lugar, sí lo haces vas a tener una mala experiencia, nosotros tuvimos que salir a la mañana siguiente aunque eran dos noches y no nos reconocieron las dos noches que perdimos.

  Perfect getaway in a local town

  Perledo and this accomodation are perfect if you prefer more rustic and local atmosphere a bit further off Varenna town. Our host Livio was very helpful and vontacted us early before our arrival.

  Since we arrived very late in the evening, the accomodation and the key box were a bit hard to find in the dark. A better sign and front lighting could help late arrivals.

  Waking up to that view was the experience of a lifetime

  The property was stunning - really beautiful and outstanding location. Clear guidance, friendly, very clean and accommodating.

  The only minor feedback id give would be a heads up to turn on the hot water as we didn’t realise in time and had the miss the morning shower
