“Romanian-Style Scam: Think Twice Before Booking”
Appartment is clean,for the rest no more positive feedback from me. Becowse of Owner , the "Scam" story in negative part. Size of appartment much smaller then on photos. Sleeping on Sofa is impossible, verry hard part sticking out. The staircase / building / yard is verry bad, Romanian reality, but this something which not depends from Owner of appartment.
I strongly recommend thinking twice before booking this apartment. During our stay, a small amount of water allegedly leaked from the iron and caused minor swelling on the surface of one removable IKEA PAX wardrobe panel. The panel remained intact, kept its shape, and no other part of the wardrobe was damaged. Instead of accepting a replacement for this single removable panel, the host demanded payment for an entire piece of furniture and included delivery costs from Bucharest. I even found a replacement panel with the same dimensions; it only needed four small fixing holes to be drilled. However, the host refused this reasonable solution and tried to make us pay for a much larger replacement. This claim does not reflect the actual extent of the damage. The apartment contains many cheap items that are already far from perfect condition. Some chair cushions are damaged and uncomfortable — even frightening — to sit on. Several cups are cracked, different parts of various items are loose or falling off, and some furniture and household items show signs of previous wear and damage. Based on our experience, guests should be aware that even minimal damage may lead to demands for expensive replacement, delivery from another city or country, and repair costs charged to the guests. I can only imagine what might happen if someone accidentally made a small mark on a wall — they might be expected to pay for a worker and the renovation of the entire room. Be very careful when considering this apartment. Take detailed photographs and videos of everything immediately after arrival, including furniture, dishes, chairs, walls and household appliances. Otherwise, you may face unexpected claims for replacing items that were already inexpensive, worn or damaged before your stay. You can see in attachmnet photos small bubbled surface on single removeble pannel, rest structure is not touched.and bill for new wardrobe 370 RON, and delivery from Bucharest to Constanta 189 RON.
