From the very beginning, our stay started on a disappointing note. I sent a message asking whether someone would meet us, but never received a reply, so I assumed we would have to collect the key ourselves. While entering the code, the owner came out and said she would show us to the apartment. Unfortunately, the apartment was dusty and it was obvious it had not been properly cleaned before our arrival. The wooden flooring on the balcony not only creaked but also felt unstable and bent underfoot. We even found trash under the blanket on the bed. The tables and floors were dirty, and there were dead flies stuck to our slippers. When we asked for the air conditioning to be turned on, we were accused of our children taking the remote control. Later, however, the owner's husband brought the remote himself. We were also discouraged from using the air conditioning and were told to simply open the windows instead. Overall, we were glad we stayed there for just one night rather than spending an entire day or a longer vacation in the apartment.
