Nice hotel with good breakfast and price excellent.
The location is good but away from Venice, the breakfast was small but very good and the coffee machine was excellent. The bathroom and room are a little dark and dated but the beds were comfy. Rooms were clean. Great value for the rooms and the transport links are convenient to go into the centre or for the airport.

Pre Cruise Stay
A perfect 2 night stay before we went on our cruise. The tram stop is around the corner to take you to Venice. Location great for the Mestre area. Closer to the airport and Cruise port than staying in Venezia. Hotel staff very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast isn’t amazing but still with having for the coffee and croissants. We will stay again.

Very Bad Behavior
Extremely rude behavior by their check in lady. I have never seen anyone behave so horribly. Hotel Staff name - Alessia. Feel very sorry for overall hotel management but they should seriously consider not putting that lady on front desk to deal with customers. I requested her to write her name so that I can discuss with her manager, see what she wrote.

Best Hotel I have ever stayed in!!!!!
My cousin and I had the pleasure of staying for 10 nights. I very highly recommend this hotel. The staff were friendly, kind and each one of them went over and above. Upon our arrival, we received a very warm and genuine welcome and a huge smile. Each of the employees were professional, helpful and kind. It was quite obvious they enjoy their job which you don't see very often anymore. The breakfast bar was exceptional. I was expecting a continental breakfast but was pleasantly surprised with a selection of hot food and many different breakfast options. (My favorite were the mini pancakes with "Canadian" Maple Syrup). The front desk were very helpful and explained how to get to various places. Everything right down to the vintage decor was perfect. The cleanliness was exceptional. Needless to say staying at the Garden Hotel Michelangelo was the perfect choice for my visit to Venice. The hotel is family owned and I think this makes a huge different. They truly care about their guests and it was quite evident.. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

Great stay
The hotel was very well kept and clean and the staff were great, helpful and friendly. The breakfast was a good basic standard breakfast had all the usual and was plentiful. Location is a good alternative if you don't want to pay the expensive costs of being very central. It was easy to get to mainland Venice by tram outside the hotel or train within 30 mins and was part of the fun. I recommend you getting the the train to Venice to experience the impact of the beautiful sight of the surroundings when you walk out of the station. I had a single person's room which was a real bonus as in the Uk you don't get this and would have to pay for a double if you was on your own. It was cozy and had a good size bathroom being as it was a single occupancy.
