    There are way better places than this for the price in Bedford.

    Easy to find Room was large enough for two Bedding was OK Free parking

    Horrible decor, purple black and silver throughout. Really garish The room we had the bathroom door didn't close shut The door to the room from outside didn't fit, there was a cm gap at the top On the evening we arrived here was no hot water from the shower or from the sink. There was no maintainance staff available @ 19.00hrs I had to ask reception for the hot water to function in the morning Then the mainrainance staff kept his shoes on in the shower room leaving a smeared floor in the shower cubicle Breakfast was finished by 8.30, not guest friendly unless you're a contractor staying over Definitely will not return

    There was was an issue with the plumbing system. Loud noises at midnight and in the morning, metal pipes vibrating. Repair needed. Hotel said it would be done nexy day.

    Very helpful and pleasant staff. The environment of the hotel is like home from home. I will definitely stay again. Hopefully, they will be able to provide a nice full English breakfast :-)

    A warm welcome, great location, good restaurant and bar.

    The Verve staff cannot do enough for you. Thank you to Baz, Naz, Rebecca, the lady who tidied our room and the handyman who helped us downstairs with our heavy cases. The bar and restaurant on site offer a great range of food and drinks in a pleasant dining area. There is a garden and outdoor area for sunny days. Twin beds are soft, comfortable but narrow (to fit in the space), a handy fridge is provided and a fan for warmer weather. Plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits in our room. The en suite shower room was small but adequate and the water temperature and flow was fine. Good location for town and Bedford Station.

    Stairs become narrow at the top of the hotel with no lift, but that's the nature of a building with history.
