Great location and perfect for a short stay
We stayed at VIA INN Nagoya Shinkansenguchi for one night, as we had an early morning flight the following day and needed a hotel with convenient transport connections to the airport. In this regard, the location was absolutely perfect! The room was not particularly spacious, but it was more than adequate for a one-night stay and, most importantly, it was very clean. The hotel provided pajamas and shower essentials, and additional amenities such as skincare products, razors, and cotton pads were available near the entrance, which we really appreciated. Another big plus was the convenience store located right downstairs, which was extremely useful! Overall, despite the laundry issue, we had a pleasant stay. The hotel is clean, practical, well-equipped, and in an excellent location, especially for travelers needing convenient transport connections. A very good choice for a short stay in Nagoya!
The only negative aspect of our stay was the laundry facility. Unfortunately, after using the washing machine, our clothes actually came out smelling worse than before, with a strong damp, musty odor. We ended up having to wash everything again. It almost seemed as though the machine had run out of detergent or hadn’t cleaned the clothes properly.
