  Rustig en mooi gelegen

  Het was een ruim appartement op de begane grond op een mooie locatie met zwembad in een rustige gedeelte van Lenno. Het was +/- 15 min lopen naar de boulevard. Alles was duidelijk uitgelegd via foto’s over gebruik van sleutels e.d. We konden de locatie wel vinden via onze navigatiesysteem.

  We vonden de bedden erg hard. Tip: Bij de douche op de grond een strip plaatsen, zodat het water niet de badkamer inloopt. Minpunt: Schoonmaak kon zeker beter, we vonden op diverse plaatsen in het appartement (woonkamer, slaapkamer en badkamer) lange zwarte haren op de grond.

  Very nice apartment, would book again

  This is a well-equipped, clean, pleasant, comfortable apartment within easy walking distance of the centre of Lenno. There are a couple of supermarkets nearby and the kitchen facilities are more than enough for self-catering. It looked like the apartment is one of several holiday lets in the complex, not that this has any impact. It was too cold for the pool while we were there but it looked nice. A couple of things I really liked: the big mocha pot - it's so good to be able to make real coffee; the welcome wine, always a nice gesture

  There wasn't anything we weren't happy about so the following are just a couple of items for the agency to note. - The toaster is the toaster from hell. Each morning we had a fight with it to get our bread out of those strange wire racks. Maybe get a normal one! - We struggled to get our chargers to work in the sockets. That was strange as they are fine everywhere else in Italy

  We liked our stay at Villa Vista

  Great place - with easy walking distance to Lenno. The pool was very nice, especially since the rainfall had made the lake not so nice to swim in. Easy to get in touch with facilities management and lots of good advice to be had from them.

  The garage spot is at the furthermost end, so you need to have a small car to be able to use it. The grass could have used a mowing - was very long. The washing machine had a faulty electrical plug and we couldnt use it. The owner credited us laundy service which was appreciated.

  Exceptional

  The location is absolutely magical, really special place to visit. The apartment is extremely clean and well maintained, everything is set out in a very logical and convenient way which makes the holiday less stressful. Really nice thinking from the host, e.g. electrical adaptors in a bowl for international travellers. There is a lot to do in the various towns and communes and each has a specific character. Restaurant recommendation: "Ancient Trattoria del Risorgimento" very unique and special restaurant using local ingredients, meaning the menu is subject to change based on the seasons. Offers a different type of food to what people usually would think of in a very warm and intimate setting. If you're open minded or want something different is worth checking out in my opinion.

  No specific issues. I found it slightly difficult to locate the property at first, but that is probably my own fault for not using Google maps before to scout out the area. The public transportation can be a little unreliable (often late) so if you need to travel places leave additional contigency time. Also there is a system with trenord trains about validation of tickets before you board, I did validate them but I do not fully understand it, do some research on the public transport in advance to be safe. Protip: Bring Euros for the buses, they only accepted cash
