We would use York Stays again. Impressed with their service.
Very cosy and comfortable. Tastefully decorated with thoughtful, practical touches in all rooms.

A good place to stay for visiting York if cleaning improves.
A cosy cottage with tasteful décor in a traditional setting. Comfortable beds and a good bathroom. The car park by the city walls is easily accessible.
The cleaning methods need to be improved. It was clean, but a bit musty and the dining table was sticky. The cleaning supplies provided were not sufficient to resolve the issue. The host, or the agency representing him, has not responded to that complaint. The stairs are steep and may not be suitable for elder people.
