    A Top Quality stay

    The watering hole is such an asset, it provided entertainment throughout our stay. Sometimes seeing more animals than on safari. The vulture culture talk was also very good, very educational. Bottle of wine left for us in our room , as knew it was our anniversary.

    Everything was good.

    Truly authentic African stay…with some luxury added.

    The authentic look and nature of the design; it felt like Africa. The view of the watering hole on the Savannah below. The pool was beautiful and refreshing. Breakfast buffet was good. Bathroom was quite large and nice.

    Pool area too small…not enough lounge chairs to accommodate all the quests who wanted to lounge and recline around the pool. We had a two room suite (main level living room and upper level bedroom). After walking on the main level barefoot bottom of my feet were very dirty. Our previous stay in Zambia the resort gave us unlimited pre-sealed plastic water bottles. Here we were given refilled glass bottles, and not sure of the purity. Cannot say for certain it was the water, but after two days in the VF Safari Lodge we had ‘stomach’ issues. More mosquitos there than Zambia side.

    Perfect!

    This is a lovely lodge in a brilliant location. The staff were wonderful, the view over the waterhole from almost every part of the place was great. There was a convenient shuttle to the Falls, a very good breakfast, and seeing the elephants trundle up in the late afternoon was a special treat. I’d return in a heartbeat!

    Totally fabulous

    Rooms were exceptional and the view over the waterhole was stunning. Pool area was pleasant and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing with a great selection of foods and the shuttle into town was welcome.
