    De locatie ..

    Het hotel profileert zich als een viersterrenhotel, maar eerlijk gezegd had ik daar toch andere verwachtingen bij. Bij aankomst oogt de entree op het eerste gezicht verzorgd en degelijk. Wanneer je echter wat beter kijkt, vallen er details op, zoals het versleten tapijt en de vlekken. Ook de kamers zijn duidelijk verouderd en vertonen heel wat gebruikssporen. Naar mijn persoonlijke mening sluit de algemene uitstraling eerder aan bij een driesterrenhotel dan bij de vier sterren die het hotel aanbiedt. Een ander groot minpunt was het lawaai. De deuren die in het hotel werden gesloten, waren bijzonder goed hoorbaar in de kamer, om nog maar te zwijgen van het straatlawaai. Ik verbleef er vijf nachten en heb helaas geen enkele nacht echt comfortabel kunnen slapen. Ik wil hierbij benadrukken dat mijn opmerkingen niet gericht zijn tegen het personeel. Ik denk eerder dat er op managementniveau werk aan de winkel is om de kamers te moderniseren, het comfort te verbeteren en de geluidsoverlast aan te pakken. Alles bij elkaar genomen viel mijn verblijf behoorlijk tegen en keek ik er eerlijk gezegd tegenop om er te verblijven. Met de juiste investeringen en meer aandacht voor comfort en onderhoud zou dit hotel ongetwijfeld een aangenamere ervaring kunnen bieden die beter aansluit bij de verwachtingen van een viersterrenhotel.

    Close to transport, beach. Small, but lovely pool on the roof, nice personal.

    Some small issues with room, but they were fixed quickly. A bit noisy because of some construction work in the neighborhood.
