  Traumhafte Unterkunft in toller Lage

  Es war alles notwendige in der Wohnung enthalten, sogar Waschmaschine, Wäscheständer, Waschmittel. Die Lage ist super. Direkt vorher dem Haus fahren mehrere Busse nach Funchal ab. Außerdem befinden sich einige Restaurants, ein kleiner und ein großer Supermarkt, ein Café/Bäcker und eine Apotheke in der Nähe. Zum Strand geht es in 10 Minuten zu Fuß, wo es auch tolle Restaurants gibt. Die Aussicht vom Balkon ist phänomenal! Unsere Kinder liebten vor allem den Infinity-Pool mit direktem Ausblick aufs Meer. Nach einer Woche wurden alle Handtücher durch das Personal ausgetauscht und Verbrauchsutensilien wieder aufgefüllt. Der Kontakt zur Appartementvermietung war reibungslos und immer sehr nett!

  Die Betten und die Schlafcouch waren leider sehr unbequem/hart. Es war zu wenig Besteck vorhanden für eine vierköpfige Familie.

  Das Apartment hat eine tolle Lage. Großes Lebensmittelgeschäft und Apotheke befinden sich sehr nah. Der eigene Parkplatz in der Garage ist ebenfalls ein großer Pluspunkt. Der Strand Praia Formosa ist nicht einmal 10min zu Fuß entfernt und sehr angenehm aufgrund der wenigen Besucher. Balkonaussicht und Pool auch Top. Die Betreuer sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Sollte etwas nicht passen oder anders gewünscht sein, kümmern sie sich darum das Problem zu beheben.

  Not recommended.

  View is great! Nice to have a washing machine in the unit.

  I can’t recommend staying here. For the price you may as well stay in a nice hotel. The bathroom was dirty and the bed uncomfortable. The sliding door to one of the balconies was jammed closed and couldn’t open. There was no hot water at all. When we complained the response was slow and the solution offered didn’t work. We ended up checking out several days early. Although a refund for unused days and 25% off the night we stayed was offered, not once were we given an apology for the inconvenience which left a sour taste. At checkin we drove into the wrong garage due to poor communication but it felt like we were told we had done something wrong instead of an apology. Poor customer service - A Island Apart needs to learn the tried and tested lesson of “the customer is always right!”
