Decent apartment, but appalling management and false accusations of blackmail.
The apartment itself was reasonably comfortable and the accommodation was generally satisfactory. Unfortunately, the overall experience was overshadowed by a serious safety incident and the extremely unprofessional response from the property management agency.
A truly horrible and upsetting experience, particularly because of the conduct of the management agency, Homing. During our stay, my daughter cut her hand on a chipped plate provided in the apartment, resulting in a visit to hospital. I reported this legitimate health and safety concern to the agency. Separately, I had simply asked what the latest permitted checkout time was. I did not demand an extension or make any threats. Shockingly, the agency accused me of “pure blackmail”, claiming that I only reported my daughter’s injury because they refused a later checkout. This accusation is documented in our Booking.com messages. I found this response deeply offensive, completely unfounded and extraordinarily unprofessional. Rather than demonstrating concern for an injured child, the agency chose to make a serious personal accusation against a paying guest. The accommodation itself was not the main problem. It was the appalling way the management handled a genuine safety complaint. I have escalated this matter to Booking.com and am considering legal advice in Portugal. I would strongly caution other families about my experience with this management agency. Accidents can happen, but treating guests with respect, compassion and professionalism should be the absolute minimum.

O apartamento é excelente, tem uma varanda grande com vista para a piscina, e uma boa churrasqueira para quem gosta de grelhar. A piscina é boa e estava sempre limpa.
A hora do check out. Tivemos de sair às 10h30, e às 10h já estavam à porta à espera para fazer a limpeza. Só havia espreguiçadeiras para os apartamentos de baixo.
