We had a fantastic stay at Villa Almoezia! Comfortable and private.
Even though we showed up early, Sebastian welcomed us warmly and pleasantly! The grounds were large, including a beautiful pool with the most fantastic view you can imagine:) We had a very comfortable room with two large doors on two sides which let in a lot of light, including a small balcony. Don’t let the outside fool you, it is so nice behind the gate! Sebastian had lots of information about the area that he shared, including info about getting the bus down into town or up to Castelmola, but we walked of course (so many stairs and steep paths in Taormina). There are a couple restaurants within very close walking distance, and also a street side bar serving beer and a few drinks. Sebastian even helped us secure a parking spot right outside the hotel, where we left the car for the two days we were there. There was a great view of Mt Etna from the street outside the hotel.
Driving up to the location was tricky, very narrow streets and Sicilian drivers of course!
