  Stunning views, but disappointing experience

  The villa is spacious and has stunning views, it’s well equipped with everything you need. It is in a peaceful and beautiful location - off the beaten track, but a beach and restaurant are within walking distance, with a supermarket a short drive away. We’d particularly recommend Kiki’s for food and excellent service.

  The villa and the management were a disappointment. We arrived on time for check in as agreed, only to find that the villa had not been cleaned and was nowhere near ready. We were left waiting for another two hours, meaning we couldn’t unpack or access our rooms until after 5pm, despite check in being at 3pm. There was barely an apology or any acknowledgement of the inconvenience. When we were finally able to check in, the villa was still not clean to an acceptable standard. A further clean was eventually carried out later in the week and was better, but by that point several days of our holiday had already been affected. The villa is also dated inside and poorly maintained, with numerous broken items and maintenance issues. There were problems with the beds, washing machine, showers, toilets and door locks, as well as issues around the pool and a damp lower ground floor bedroom. A faulty door lock also resulted in our guests, including their one year old baby, becoming trapped inside a room. Although many of the issues were eventually addressed to some degree, this involved back and forth with management and repairs being carried out over several days. Workmen and other visitors were coming to the villa throughout our stay, which was disruptive and far from the relaxing holiday we had expected. What made the situation even more frustrating was the lack of apology and accountability from the management. There seemed to be very little recognition of the fact that we had planned a special family holiday experience that wasn’t delivered. Despite the extent of the problems and the disruption caused, we weren’t offered a gesture of compensation or even a genuine acknowledgement of how disappointing the situation was. Overall, while the views are fantastic and we loved the nearby restaurant and beach, they unfortunately do not make up for the poor condition of the villa, lack of cleanliness, maintenance problems and disappointing management response.

  La casa, la piscina, el entorno, la hospitalidad de los propietarios y los consejos para visitar la isla y desplazamiento. Igualmente nos facilitaron el check in anticipado y check out tardío. Todo de 10!!!
