This was exactly the kind of place we were looking for – peaceful, authentic, surrounded by nature,
The villa is truly unique. The first floor feels almost like a small museum, with a beautiful traditional design inspired by accommodation once prepared for guests of a monastery, while the second floor is more modern. The combination works perfectly. A lovely shaded gazebo next to the villa is the perfect place to relax and comfortably spend the whole day outdoors, even during the hottest hours. The villa had everything we needed for our stay. Fotini welcomed us with a delicious homemade lemon cake, which was a lovely surprise after our journey. From the very beginning, it was clear that she genuinely cares about her guests and manages the property with great professionalism. Bella was always kind, responsive, and incredibly helpful whenever we had any questions. One of the highlights of our stay was the village itself. The neighbours, as well as everyone else we met, were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always smiling. The atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for – peace, nature, and authentic Crete. We loved hearing the sheep bleating in the distance, the constant sound of cicadas, and the friendly cats that came to visit us. The views around the villa are stunning, and the nearby beaches are beautiful. Of course, famous beaches like Elafonissi and Falassarna are well worth visiting, but we would also highly recommend taking the short 15-minute walk to the nearby coastline. We often found ourselves completely alone there, surrounded by beautiful scenery and the peaceful sound of the sea. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking to escape the noise of the city and enjoy a peaceful holiday in one of the most authentic parts of Crete.

The property was well maintained, and any hiccups we might’ve had the host addressed immediately. There wasn’t anything that we didn’t like about the property.

All time summer holiday.
Beautiful location - Crete, with a view, in a village with great restaurants. The layout and facilities were perfect for our group - family with a child plus grandparents plus friends staying.
