A memorable holiday, for adults and children, experienced the real Crete away from tourists!
A truly outstanding position with stunning views and a location in the rural heart of Crete. Accommodation was private, extremely well appointed, large, airy rooms, excellent kitchen and bedrooms, terraces and swimming pools were safe and modern. Met on arrival by the owner and husband, shown round and courteously welcomed. A place we would be happy to return to!

One word...Amazing! Villa Asagonia is fantastic.
The view, the facilities and location. We spent a fabulous two weeks here, always in the pool. The villa is amazing, it has two levels which is perfect when travelling as two families or with extended family to have space to relax. Georgia is the perfect host - professional, knowledgeable and approachable. Georgia provided us with lots of information to enjoy our holiday how we wanted to. Asa Gonia village is delightful with a lovely taverna, 5 minute walk away and the village centre is a 10 minute walk away with a well-stocked supermarket. The people are so friendly and welcoming. Everything for a perfect villa stay away from the crowds.

A Truly Unforgettable Experience Our stay at Villa Asigonia (12-19.06.2025) was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we booked, Georgia and Yannis, the incredible hosts, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Prior to our arrival, they were in touch with helpful information, and when we arrived late, they had thoughtfully arranged a delicious dinner delivered straight to the villa. The hospitality was very nicely confirmed with local cinnamon specialties and gifted hand-picked tea upon our departure, we truly felt welcomed and cared for. The villa itself is immaculate, beautifully furnished, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing and luxurious stay. Fast and reliable Wi-Fi was a plus, especially for those who may need to stay connected. The outdoor space is breathtaking, with a private swimming pool and jacuzzi overlooking the majestic Cretan mountains—perfect for peaceful mornings or magical sunsets. Crete itself is a stunning Greek island that offers a perfect blend of ancient history, vibrant culture, and breathtaking natural beauty—from the ruins of Knossos to the crystal-clear waters of Elafonissi Beach. Whether you're hiking the Samaria Gorge or savoring local Cretan cuisine, it's an unforgettable destination that caters to every kind of traveler. We wholeheartedly recommend Villa Asigonia to anyone looking for an unforgettable, warm, and luxurious escape.
