  A slice of paradise

  The villa is a true slice of paradise. The photos really don’t do it justice, as it is much bigger in person. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. One of the best features is the open-plan ground floor, which allows a lovely breeze to flow through the villa. This makes a real difference in the tropical heat and creates a wonderful space to relax. The garden is absolutely immaculate and beautifully maintained. Every detail feels carefully considered, creating a peaceful and relaxing setting to enjoy throughout your stay. The staff work exceptionally hard to keep the villa in excellent condition and ensure everything is taken care of. The two house staff will also prepare all your meals at no extra charge. You simply need to provide money in advance for them to purchase the ingredients. We took advantage of this service and found it extremely reasonable. It was a real pleasure to enjoy freshly prepared meals without having to leave the villa. The villa is a little way out of town, but this wasn’t an issue for us. Several local restaurants offer free pick-ups or charge a small fee. The driver was excellent, collecting us from the airport, taking us on day trips and always being only a message away. The staff also arranged a scooter rental for us at a very reasonable price. Given the location, this was a really convenient and affordable way to get around. Our favourite spot was the daybed at the bottom of the garden, overlooking the sea. Relaxing there, listening to the waves crashing against the shore, was a real highlight. In the evenings, we enjoyed chatting with the friendly locals who came down to the beach with their families. These little experiences made our stay even more special. The overnight security was another reassuring feature, with a guard on duty from 18:00 to 06:00. Eric was particularly friendly and helpful, and we really appreciated his warm welcome.   A few things are worth mentioning to give a balanced review. The villa is a little tired in places and would benefit from some minor maintenance and a bit of attention. However, please don’t let this put you off, as it still has plenty to offer. With the villa being so open to the outdoors, you should expect to share the space with the occasional gecko. We soon got used to having them as little housemates. They never bothered us or came too close, so they really weren’t an issue. You will need some form of transport to get around, or you will need to rely on the driver. The location is peaceful, but it is worth bearing in mind when planning your stay. The biggest downside for us was the beach. Unfortunately, there is a lot of litter, which detracts from the beautiful sea views. The garden staff regularly clean the stretch of beach in front of the villa, but rubbish continues to wash ashore from the sea. Despite these drawbacks, we had a wonderful stay. The villa, the friendly staff and the peaceful surroundings made it a memorable experience. We feel it is important to mention these points so you know what to expect, but they would not take away from the hospitality and the special moments we enjoyed here.

  Die Unterkunft ist einfach eine 12/10. Moderne großzügige Ausstattung, der Garten/Poolbereich sehr gepflegt und die Aussicht der Wahnsinn. Das Absolute Highlight sind die zwei Köchinnen - nirgendwo auf Bali haben wir so lecker und ausgewogen gegessen. Vielen lieben Dank für die schönen Tage.

  Amazing Villa on the beach with beautiful manicured grounds and very friendly staff.

  This is a retreat from overcrowded tourist areas. It is a long drive to get there but worth it. The pool and grounds are lovely and they offer a tour guide for many different local adventures on the north side of the island. We had sunrise adventure to cruise with dolphins and the boat picked us up right at the villa. We hiked to beautiful big waterfalls and visited an indescribable Buddhist monastery. The snorkeling was also a fantastic day trip to nearby island.

  Our best family holiday, we definitely recommend and will be back one day 😊

  All the staffs there were exceptional, we feel like we’re home. The view and the pool were superb!
