  Superb, relaxing stay in a spacious place

  We had a superb, relaxing stay in Villa Basilio, as it had all the comforts for a large family or a large group of tourist residents. It is located in a picturesque, serene place of the traditional village of Gennadi. It is very close to the village's super market, bakery, tavernas, restaurants and bars, which are vibrant with nice music and parties or greek nights at specific days of the week. The villa is very spacious. It has all the facilities, equipment for self catering, cooking, washing clothes, dishes and the bathrooms are modern, well equipped (e.g they include a hair dryer among others comforts). The fridge and dining table are large and there is plenty of storage space in the cupboards of the kitchen. What I liked was that the windows had insect screens, making it perfect for keeping the windows open at night, as there is almost always a breeze and there are hardly any mosquitoes due to the gentle wind. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe, hence most of the days I had the windows and shutters open, except for some other times when I used the available air condition for both floors. The villa has a large front patio, which is nice for relaxing at specific hours of the day and the roof deck balcony has a stunning view of the village and the sea in front of it. Manolis, Paola and Valantis were always there when my family needed them, making their best effort to help us with anything and they gave us good tips what places to visit in Rhodos and where to go for sea swimming. Actually, my children want to visit the villa next summer as they loved the house and played lots of games, especially in the front patio. I recommend Vila Basilio and I would go back to it in my next visit to Rhodos.

  Super schöne Unterkunft in einem ruhigen Ort, in dem nachts dennoch einige Restaurants und Live-Musik geboten ist. Die Villa ist relativ neu renoviert und bestens ausgestattet, auch auf Kleinigkeiten z.B. in der Küchenausstattung wurde geachtet. Sehr schön war auch das Willkommensgeschenk mit Wasser und Kabbereien, das wir sehr schätzten da wir erst spät nachts ankamen. Alles war super sauber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Der Kontakt war unkompliziert und bei Fragen immer gleich verfügbar. Bei der ersten Anreise unbedingt die Wegbeschreibungen zum Parkplatz genau beachten, da der Ort sehr eng und verwinkelt ist. Ein kleiner Hinweis: die Wendeltreppe im Haus ist sehr schmal und lang und vermutlich eher für junge Leute geeignet, für uns war sie kein Problem.
