    We cannot recommend this property based on our experience.

    After arriving late in the evening following our flight, there was no one present to welcome us or assist with check-in. Upon entering the villa, we immediately noticed a strong cigarette smoke smell throughout the property, including the two bedrooms. As we were travelling as a family, staying in an indoor environment with a persistent cigarette smoke odor was not acceptable. We reported the issue immediately after check-in via Whatsapp group communication. The only solution offered was an air freshener, which masked the smell temporarily but did not resolve the underlying problem. We also found ants and insects in several areas of the villa, as well as hairs and ants in the shower, which raised concerns about the overall cleanliness. As no suitable solution or alternative accommodation was provided that evening, we left the property on the first night and booked another accommodation at our own expense. We requested a full refund. Booking.com informed us that they considered a higher level of compensation justified and contacted the property on our behalf, but the property declined to provide a refund or any satisfactory resolution.
