    We had a lovely holiday together, Gerry our host was so nice and helpful, stunning views of Amalfi

    We didn’t pay for breakfast so we ate in the village which was good for us , the views were spectacular , Gerry and his family were really nice and friendly and really helpful, the food at Gerry’s bar was very good and reasonably priced , the local bus service was excellent and always on time with easy access to Amalfi town , the locals were very nice and greeted us when we passed by.

    The walls in our apartment were very thin and unfortunately we had to complain to Gerry about one particular night when the noise from next door was horrendous, Gerry to his credit sorted it out for us and the rest of our stay was very peaceful. The stairs are quite steep so anyone who wasn’t fit could have a problem, also the path from the village is very uneven in stretches and damaged our case. No nightlife in Pogerola to speak of when we visited in October apart from Gerry’s bar .
