Don’t stay here if you want easy access to Ragusa Ibla.
The hotel looked very nice and has a spa. It was easy to park outside. The staff were very friendly and helpful, The room was fairly well equipped and a kettle was brought when asked for The large bed was comfortable
We were under the impression that the hotel was overlooking Ragusa Ibla and would take only a short walk to get there. In fact it was necessary to drive quite a way to get there making eating out int he evening quite an expedition each time. The hotel was not in a scenic area at all and our promised ‘city view’ didn’t exist. In fact it seems we were given a ground floor room adapted for wheelchair use and there was no view at all or balcony. Sadly although the outdoor areas were nice at the rear of the property, there was no indoor seating area and as such there was no atmosphere. We did use the sauna and steam room in the spa but had to pay extra for this.
