  Luxurious villa just outside Samara

  Villa Bruga is lovely with superb construction and finishes. The kitchen is well-outfitted and there are nice dining areas inside and out. The bedrooms are luxurious and peaceful with very comfortable beds. We enjoyed the private pool and the many birds, including scarlet macaws. The Villa is part of Villas Kalimba, which is in downtown Samara, directly across from the beach, which gave us access to their parking, restaurant, bar and pool. The staff of Villas Kalimba are wonderful and so helpful.

  When you are outside, there is a lot of road noise from the highway below.

  Our stay at Villa Bruga exceeded expectations and was absolutely amazing in every regard.

  The Villa was gorgeous. The landscaping and pool were absolutely stunning. kitchen and appliances were well stocked, and all of the rooms were very clean. The Villa and the hotel property were well maintained and the decor and ambience were superb! The food and beverages were also delicious. Every staff member that we met was incredibly friendly. You can tell they love their jobs.

  As with visiting any tropical location- we had a small issue with bugs. One night we had a large spider and a scorpion make an appearance.

  A lovely couple of days, we wished we had booked for longer.

  A lovely villa set outside the main town with its own private pool, BBQ and outside dining area. Diego and staff were so friendly and helpful - we were greeted with welcome cocktails - and we also had the use of the facilities at their main hotel in Samara - the Kalimba.

  A very minor thing for us, but the villa is located on a main road which can be quite noisy. It didn’t bother us but if you’re looking for somewhere particularly quiet it’s something to be aware of. It’s also a bit tricky to find the entrance if you go out after dark!

  Well designed and maintained property for a relaxing stay

  I liked the privacy and design of the villa. Its bedrooms are all self-contained and with 3 bathrooms, one in each bedroom and one in the common area, there was never any issue with that. It is designed for both indoor and outdoor loving, with a great kitchen, but also a grill and comfortable outdoor seating. The complex was secure and conveniently located between Samara and Playa Carrillo. The beach was 2 - 3 minutes away. The fact that the villa is serviced by a hotel is a real plus.

  The only thing I can think of that could be viewed as negative is that the villa is close to the road and you do hear traffic at times. But, there wasn't so much that it became an issue and it didn't occur in the middle of the night.
