Exceptional in every detail and fully deserving of a perfect 10!
Absolutely everything. Ângelo and João are wonderful hosts, and their hospitality makes the whole stay feel genuinely special. The house itself is beautiful, full of history, character and thoughtful details, with lovely décor, great comfort and the added charm of the cats. The peace and quiet are wonderful, especially in the late afternoon by the pool, with perfectly chosen music in the background. Meals are served outside in the garden with such care and attention, and breakfast - much of it featuring produce straight from the garden - was truly exceptional. At times, it honestly felt as though I could have been staying at a private villa in Tuscany. I also absolutely loved the “living library” - such a beautiful, original and generous idea! What stands out most, though, is the extraordinary attention to detail. Before arriving, I have to admit I was slightly intrigued, even suspicious, when I saw a 9.9 rating, but now I completely understand it. This place genuinely deserves a perfect 10. Exceptional!
