A private piece of paradise above the caldera, and the most beautiful place we could have imagined t
We said our vows on the patio of Villa Dakoronia as the sun sank into the caldera and turned the whole sky to gold, and no place on earth could have held that moment more beautifully. From our first morning coffee above the deep blue water to evening walks through the whitewashed lanes of Fira, the villa felt like a private world made just for us. If you are looking for somewhere to begin forever, or simply to fall in love with Santorini, this is it. Joanna, Rigas, and the entire family have created a vacation escape worthy of our wedding. From start to finish, arrival to departure, not one shred of discontent. We love them for making our trip so incredible.

The best view in the island!
The location was stunning. We had the best view in the island and were close to everything.
The stairs to the second floor were very difficult and we did not realize this was how the second bedroom was accessed when booking. The bathroom upstairs was also very small.

Maison avec une vue extraordinaire sur la caldeira !
Notre hôte, Joanna, nous a accueilli de manière exceptionnelle ! Elle était heureuse de parler français avec nous et nous avons passé une semaine merveilleuse dans sa maison. il y a 2 terrasses dont une en haut de la maison avec une vue époustouflante. La petite piscine est chauffée (bien agréable au mois de mai) avec des jets. La maison est idéalement située dans Fira, à proximité des restaurants, bars, superette... On peut tout faire à pied, et utiliser les bus pour visiter les extrémités de l'ile. Attention, Santorin peut être compliqué pour les personnes à mobilité réduite. Je recommande la villa Dakoronia pour un séjour en famille, ou entre amis, sans voiture.
