    Comfortable, cozy villa, close to the beach

    This is a traditional Sicilian-style villa with many charming antique items from the Sicilian countryside: colourful ceramics, solid wood furniture, stucco mouldings, carved mirror frames, and paintings by Italian masters. At the same time, the villa is equipped with modern plumbing, a smart TV, a coffee machine, a washing machine and a glass-ceramic hob. All three bedrooms, the living room and the kitchen have air conditioning. We admired the lemon and orange trees and huge palm trees in the courtyard. We parked the car near the entrance. The street is a dead end, so there is no traffic. The owner, Luis, is very hospitable and attentive: he brought us delicious croissants from a local bakery twice! And he was also tending to the garden sometimes without disturbing our stay. We found a secret passage through bushes to the right of the villa and used it to walk only 15 minutes to the best part of Mondello Beach near the beautiful pier. Overall, we really enjoyed our holiday and would recommend it!

    Sometimes in the evenings, we were disturbed by noisy neighbours, as well as dogs barking/howling and roosters crowing early in the morning. But this is a peculiarity of the countryside and does not depend on the efforts of the villa owner.
