  Decent Stay, but Nothing Exceptional

  Overall, the villa was fine for a short stay. It’s very spacious, spread over four floors, and even has an elevator inside, which is quite unique. From the photos, it looks fully equipped throughout, but in reality, the kitchen was only moderately stocked, and some dishes were not very clean. The villa must have been quite luxurious back in the 80s, but since then, it seems little has been updated. All the furniture and bathrooms are quite dated, and the overall cleanliness was average at best. The hosts were generally fine — they were communicative, kept their word, and arrived on time, although they were not always quick to respond. The price was reasonable for what you get. The location is in a quiet, private neighborhood, but don’t expect much privacy around the pool — neighbors have balconies overlooking it. You definitely need a car or taxi to get anywhere, as it’s not walkable to shops or the city center. There’s plenty of space and lots of balconies, and the pool was okay, but nothing special. I don’t think I would choose this villa again; it was acceptable for our stay, but I believe there are better alternatives if you take the time to look around.

  Wonderful Villa 10 Minutes from Beach, 25 from Athens

  The house was absolutely perfect for our group. I loved that it had an elevator, which helped with our luggage. The rooms had lovely balconies and the pool was a huge hit with the kids! It was close enough for a day trip to the beach or into downtown Athens. Plenty of restaurant and market options nearby. The owners were wonderful and able to accommodate us on very short notice.
