    Location was excellent, near Piazetta. Clean, quiet, spacious, comfortable apartment with strong wifi, strong water pressure, and good air conditioning. Hosts Dorothee and Cristina were helpful, especially in arranging luggage porter service after checkout.

    The only thing we didn't like was the 3 flights of stairs from the front gate to the residence. One person in our group walks with crutches and was able to navigate this, but it was a challenge. (Once inside the residence, accessibility was a non-issue.) We are not upset about this, as accessible lodging is practically non-existent in Capri. We had family staying at a Capri hotel with an elevator -- but it's on a steep hill, and before reaching the elevator you must go up 2 flights of stairs to the lobby. Such is life in Capri. People who cannot navigate the stairs should probably not stay in Capri. Those who can, will be happy with Villa Dorothee.

    Everything was great! The location is excellent, the place was exactly as expected, and the communication was very good throughout my stay. I was warmly welcomed and everything went smoothly. I really enjoyed staying here and would absolutely recommend it to others.

    property with a lot of potential, but needs more upkeep!

    The location is fantastic! Just a short walk from the main city square... Cristina was helpful in providing us tips on how to reach easily and where to eat/what to visit... The room and bathroom was spacious and well lit, adorned with beaitiful/classical Capri tiles :)

    The toilet was old and in dire need of renovation.. the toilet flush would hardly work properly, more often than not requiring 3/4 flushes before draining properly. Attention to cleanliness could have been a lot better for a property that charges for rooms- the ashtray on the balcony still contained stubbed cigarettes and a glass in the room was used when we checked in. Dont expect daily cleaning/or your bed to be made up... Keep in mind that the property is up 3 flights of steps, so not ideal for persons with limited mobility. PS; We were going to book the room with a private terrace, but glad we didnt as the terrace was at the entrance to the rooms - so it's far from private...

    It’s Caprice, you get what you pay for and in the summer, its a goo deal.

    Everything was as expected! Very close to the centre, everything walking distance. Comfortable, easy going and no hassle from host
