  The host was very kind, friendly, and easy to communicate with. The apartment is in a beautiful location with a lovely view. However, you definitely need a car or should rent one, as it is not easily accessible otherwise. The apartment was clean and tidy when we arrived.

  There are no mosquito nets on the windows, so mosquitoes and even small lizards could get inside. Because of this, we couldn't leave the windows open to ventilate the apartment and had to keep turning the air conditioning on and off during the night. We also noticed that ants appeared very quickly whenever even a small crumb of food fell on the floor, and we couldn't leave any food on the kitchen countertop without attracting them. The pots and pans are quite old and difficult to clean properly, so replacing them would be a good idea. The pillows were also stained, which was not very pleasant. The national park is right next to the property, which is a nice feature. However, it was quite unsettling to see wild boars very close to the terrace in the evening.

  Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Urlaub in der Villa Elena und kommen gerne wieder.

  Villa Elena liegt am Hang über Scopello. In alle Richtungen gibt es atemberaubende Aussichten, die man auf der Terrasse genießen kann. Das Dach über der Terrasse war super um sich vor der Sonne zu schützen. Das Apartment ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht rustikal aber man misst nichts. Vincenzo hat uns alles am Anfang gezeigt und uns zur Villa gebracht. Scopello ist in zehn Minuten per Fuß zu erreichen und man findet dort Restaurants, Geschäfte, Bankautomaten und eine Bäckerei. Für Tagesausflüge mit dem Auto ist es auch gut gelegen man kommt einfach zum Zingaro Park, Castellamare del Golfo, Segesta, Erice und Trapani. Vincenzo hat eine Liste an Orten und Restaurants zusammengestellt, die es sich zu erkunden lohnt. Vor der Villa kann man parken es gibt eine Waschmaschine und sogar eine Outdoordusche. Die Küche verfügt über alles was man im Urlaub braucht. Viele Steckdosen finden sich der Villa und das WLAN hat ohne Probleme funktioniert.

  Es war noch recht kalt als wir ankamen und schwer mit dem Airconditioning den Raum ein bisschen aufzuwärmen. Als wir etwas sonnigere Tage hatten war es dann kein Problem mehr. Es war bei unserer Ankunft noch recht kalt, und es war etwas schwierig, den Raum mit der Klimaanlage aufzuwärmen. An sonnigeren Tagen war das dann kein Problem mehr. Da wir in der Nebensaison dort waren, gab es auf dem Weg durch Scopello zurück zur Landstraße teilweise ein recht hohes Verkehrsaufkommen. In der Hauptsaison könnte es daher sinnvoll sein, das Auto eventuell etwas außerhalb zu parken.

  Die Lage des Häuschen oberhalb des Ortes, inmitten der Natur und mit Blick aufs Meer ist wunderbar.

  Wir hatten leider Pech mit dem Wetter, es regnete viel und war kalt. Das nächste Mal kommen wir etwas später im Jahr :-)
