  We had better accommodation in the area for a lower price.

  We received a welcome pack containing a bottle of wine, bread, butter, cheese, and ham. The villa is close to grocery stores and a playground, and a 15-minute walk from Marina Rubicon. The master bedroom features a comfortable, firm mattress and air conditioning, with ample storage space in both bedrooms.

  Both bedrooms are located on the upper floor, where the Wi-Fi signal is weaker. The appliances show signs of wear and tear; some look to be around 20 years old. You can only guess the temperature settings on the stovetop and in the oven. We didn't use the microwave or the filter coffee maker. The washing machine leaks and shakes violently; it cannot be run at the same time as the dishwasher or while someone is showering. Kitchen equipment is also lacking (frying pan, glasses, knives, etc.), though the dishwasher is adequate. The living room TV is new—an instruction manual would have been helpful, as it offers a vast array of channels. We didn't use the outdoor grill, as it looked like it was about to fall apart. On the first morning, we found a half-dead cockroach in the utility area where the washing machine is located, and a few more appeared on the ground floor later. The outdoor furniture has seen better days; there isn't much space for lounging, and a garden sofa would be a welcome addition. In the evenings, there was a noticeable sewage smell on the upper floor, where the bathroom is located. The walls offer no soundproofing, so you can clearly hear the neighbors moving chairs or opening doors. It wasn't our first time on the island, and our previous accommodation—located just two streets away—offered better amenities and more space for a lower price. The promotional photos make the villa appear larger than it actually is.

  Superb Villa, great facilities.

  Superb villa in a quiet location. Facilities were superb. Host responded very quickly. Pool was amazing.

  Myself and my partner had an excellent stay and would 100% return!

  The location of the property was great, the pool was wonderful to have. The place was a few steps to two shops.

  The only issue I had was that correspondence with the owners of the property was poor unfortunately. Although my messages weren’t urgent queries, I did ask was the water potable and waited days for a response. I also messaged them about a separate query which was never answered :(

  Month-long stay

  Location. Space. Books to borrow. Plenty of wardrobe space and hangers.

  No guidance for operation of hob and oven. Badly sized bottom sheet on main bed. Hot water wasn't hot enough.
