Location. Size of the rooms. The swimming pool is huge, deep, and has a sliding canopy that closes it in completely. It acts as a greenhouse and keeps the water the perfect temperature. Dring use, we opened it up. The garden is huge. Huge outside dining area that's under cover and got a BBQ, sink, and worktop area for food preparation. Our towels and bedding were changed halfway through our stay. Marta was brilliant! She gave clear instructions on what documentation was required prior to our arrival and helped during our stay. It was stress free and really appreciated.

Ants! But this is a generic issue for all of Portugal during the summer months. You can't leave any food out for any length of time as they appear from everywhere. We informed the letting agent and they were straight over with some ant killer products. Top service from Marta so a big thank you to her for her prompt action. We kept all the food in the fridge and kept the worktops clean and tidy and had no issues from there on.
