    Nooit meer

    De natuurlijke omgeving was mooi.

    Allereerst was het huis niet schoon. Met spinnenwebben waar mensenhaar in hing bij lampen tot vieze vloeren. De stroom viel telkens uit en dan was het of de stoppenkast in het huis of die aan het begin van de oprit waar je een schakelaar moest omzetten. De airconditioning in de slaapkamers deed het soms. Ze maakte wel erg veel geluid als ze het deden. Waren ook al denk ik 30 jaar oud. Gelukkig zijn er dan horren voor de ramen. Tenminste, dat dachten we. Deze zaten vol kieren en sloten niet goed aan waardoor je alsnog de halve nacht op muggen jacht kon. De vaatwasser maakte de vaat niet schoon maar verdeelde de vuiligheid over de afwas. Dit was al langere tijd zo kennelijk aangezien het servies al vies in de kasten stond. Kortom het algehele staat van comfort was ver te zoeken. Dit afgezet tegen de prijs die we ervoor moesten betalen is er zeker sprake van een niet realistische beeldvorming die geschetst wordt Dit doen we nooit meer.

    Lovely and peaceful location with lots of small villages nearby.

    The house is very nice and tranquil. Great space upstairs in the bedrooms. Fun downstairs bathroom with a tub for the kids. The house manager was super responsive and accommodating. I was worried about the 500 euro cash deposit, but that was fine.

    The company managing the booking sent us incorrect GPS coordinates so we went >1 hour out of the way and almost got stuck on an unmaintained dirt road. Fortunately we reached the owner on our phone and he sent us the correct location. Be ready for a 0.5 mile off-road to get to the house. The kitchen is good for breakfast. It's a bit harder to cook dinner for 5+ people. Not a lot of counter top space and small stove.
