  Beautiful villa, in the hills with views of the mountains

  Villa Koupos is absolutely beautiful, and has everything you need to have a wonderful stay. The location is pretty central, up in the hills and well placed for exploring by car. There is nothing much in Kare, but shops and tavernas in the nearby villages. The owners were so friendly and helpful and came to meet us on day one, to help us find and get to grips with the parking of the car (I’m glad we hired a tiny Fiat Panda - it is narrow, but once you’ve done it once it’s easy) The place looks exactly as the pictures show and it’s truly a wonderful space finished to a high standard. There are fly screens on every window and door and lots of terrace spaces to enjoy.

  There is nothing that we didn’t like - more that we just couldn’t get to enjoy. The weather was awful the entire week that we stayed so we couldn’t get to enjoy the pool area and outdoor cooking space which we the two main reasons we booked. The only thing I would mention is we found the beds and pillows a little uncomfortable and struggled to sleep.

  Beautiful place! All clean and new! It looks exactly like the photos. We liked it very much!

  1.The thing I think it should be mentioned for the future to the customers, it's the fact that the villa has 3 bathrooms, but one of them is a service bathroom. In reality, there are 3 bedrooms, one of them has it's own bathroom, and the upper bedrooms share a common bath. The third bathroom is located near the chitchen and the living room, with only toilet and sink. 2.Another thing to be mentioned is that the acces from the main road is made on a very narrow street (the street is exactly the width of a car) situation in which, some driving skills are needed. We did not consider the 2 points above as issues but I felt like they should have been presented with honesty from the beginning.

  Simply wonderful and we can’t wait to return.

  Wonderful views of the countryside from the pool area. Lots of outside seating areas, with plenty of loungers and deckchairs. The property is spotless, beautifully and thoughtfully furnished with everything you didn’t know you needed. The hosts were so kind, friendly and generous with food for our first breakfast and a lovely gift pack of local goods when we left.

  There is nothing to not like. It’s a perfect 10.

  Une pépite

  Le logement est magnifiquement rénové. Les photos représentent bien la villa et ce qui vous attend. Nous avons été accueilli par des hôtes prévenants et adorables qui nous avaient préparé des dakos et apporté du Raki de leur production. Quel accueil ! Le frigo était garni pour le petit-déjeuner : au top ! Au petit soin, tout au long du séjour. Karé est un village calme, très bien placé pour faire la partie Ouest de l'ile, le village Arméni n'est pas loin (en voiture) et on y trouve toutes les commodités (restaurant, supermarché, pharmacie).

  Seul bémol a été le chauffe-eau qui a dysfonctionné mais nos hôtes ont réagi IMMÉDIATEMENT : dans la demi-heure ils étaient en train de réparer le problème. Nous sommes arrivés en début de saison, ce sont des choses qui arrivent.
