A secluded beautiful place but often frequented by other day guests and events
The pool area and the lovely olive trees and surrounds were very beautiful . I had a beautiful massage from Marie Francesca. Liliana is an excellent addition to your staff. The junior suite and terrace are lovely and the views beautiful .
Most of the energies of this property are devoted to the 3 weddings that were hosted during our stay and the many day trippers to the spa. While it is understandable that these endeavours help to maintain the hotel’s viability, it does make a guest staying several nights, feel like they are secondary in importance. This was evident from check in…. having to wait a long while for several spa day trippers , not getting any important information, noisy wedding celebrations during dinner and food and service affected accordingly. We only received a change of towels on our fourth day and received no bed or room tidy or change of pool towels / robes. There is no information in the rooms and hasn’t been since covid I was told. As an international guest, more information was needed as you did feel isolated at the hotel. The taxi to and from the nearest town is 30 euro each way. I had been excited for the half board package but the choices were limited and not very appealing . I was expecting authentic tuscan food and I found the food to be over embellished and unnecessarily “ fancy” like the chef was trying to to impress . Considering how fabulous the local produce is, this was disappointing . The Chianti wine was however a highlight .

Beautiful location but there are much better hotels in the area
Beautiful, tranquil location Fantastic views Rooms are gorgeous
Very bad/average breakfast 1st breakfast - cold drip coffee!! Bread was overbaked (black) and pastries were not baked. Skipped breakfast. 2nd time breakfast was a bit better but warmer drip coffee available. No espresso, no cappuccino (also not when requested) Staff is not friendly and speak almost no english
